Dr. Jürgen “Jay” Heuer is the co-founder and CEO of SarJay GmbH (the German version of the LLC).

He has a wealth of knowledge about Innovation Management, Research & Development, Business Development and people leadership.

Back in his corporate days, Jay had a varied career in Information Technology, Product Development, and Research & Development. His last assignment at Whirlpool Corporation was Director, Advanced Concepts and Technologies, responsible for the global electronics R&D as well as development of new business opportunities based on electronics and networking.

After his doctorate in the University of Paderborn in the area of Production Management, he founded a software development company in 1995 in Germany. After two years he was recruited by Whirlpool Corporation to support their global SAP implementation in Benton Harbor, Michigan, USA. Over the decade of his career with Whirlpool, Jay held positions at the forefront of development, launching the first consulting business of Whirlpool, the development of a software-based offering, the most successful Connected Home pilot in the USA at that time, or the head of Information Security and Audit Compliance.
